In this roundtable discussion three prominent political scientists will discuss the likelihood of different Brexit scenarios and the political consequences thereof for Britain and for the European Union. Nine months ago a majority of the British voters voted to leave the European Union, but up until now it is unclear what the new relationship between Britain and the EU will look like. The current British government seems determined to \u2018take back control\u2019, while economists warn that it would be very harmful economically if Britain were to give up full access to the single market. Yet, politically, anything else than a hard Brexit may be not be feasible.
